Winter Camp schedule is below. School breaks are different this year for many schools, additional dates may be added depending upon demand.Call or email for registration form, to check availability, or to request another camp date.

Tuition for the holiday camps is $22 per class plus $10 supply fee (Fee includes brushes, sharpie, pencil, eraser; students may take these supplies home or leave for next class, current students already have these supplies)

Brownie Girl Scouts at Kids Art in Southlake

A local Brownie Girl Scout troop worked on a painting badge bright and early today.  We has some beautiful watercolor paintings. We also talked about what inspires an artist, what paintings they liked and why, how to use the paint and water to make colors lighter and darker, and how to mix colors.

Home school art classes

At Kid's art in Southlake we offer home school classes during the day.  We are flexible and can add classes when needed.  We currently have two home school classes scheduled, Tuesday 2:30-3:30 and Thursday 1:30-3:00.  We are flexible and can change class times around our other classes.  Other classes are offered Monday through Friday between 4 and 7:30.  Please email  lindaabein@gmail.com to inquire.

Fall Art Classes for children at Kids art in Southlake

The fall session begins August 20th, however students can begin classes at anytime during the session.  We try to be flexible and accommodate everyone's busy schedules.  If you start the first week and discover a conflict  we will work with you to find a class that fits in your schedule.  We understand that all those sports practices and games,  lessons and other activities may change.  Just call or email to reserve your class.

 Summer fun at art camp with some old magazines, scissors and glue! This was a nice break from the drawing and shading work earlier in the day and very creative.  We had flowers, violins and more!

Students at Kids Art in Southlake had fun creating and sculpting with clay.  We had  giraffes, dogs, bears, cats, monsters, pinch pots, boats, wall hangings, and more!!   They were all very proud of their work.

The three and four year old classes made sunflower string paintings this week.  They had big smiles when they finished their string painting and wash their sticky fingers!!!

Student art work at The Bein Gallery's Kid's Art in Southlake Studio

Students have been busy with our paper mache sculptures.  We have many animals big and small in our studio, Anything from baby bunnies and piglets to crocodiles and snakes.  Some like the messy part, others like painting and adding the extras to make the creatures come alive.  Join us for more paper mache fun during our summer camps.  Check the summer class schedule and call  or email with any questions.

Westlake Academy Painting with students

I have been working with two third grade classes at Westlake Academy to complete paintings for the Westlake Gallery Night fund raiser.  Several professional artists helped the students create their class paintings. The third grade classes that I worked with chose Canada as their country, and landscapes to represent it.
